Pressure filter in BRILLUX POWER sets
Soon a new AQUAEL product will be available in good zoological stores – BRILLUX POWER aquarium set equipped with unique pressure filter that was anticipated by the Customers.
First BRILLUX line aquarium sets constructed on the base of 60x30x40 cm rectangular tanks were introduced to zoological stores in April of 2007 and at once gained popularity and recognition among its users. There is nothing unusual about it – they were the first mass produced aquarium sets to provide strong lighting (2 x 18W) that answered to the needs of cultivating even plant species that are demanding in this regard. During the next 18 months the BRILLUX offer was supplemented with 60 centimetres bow-front aquariums and analogous models of 80 cm length (rectangular 112 l and bow-front 102 l). At the same time first modifications were introduced – in the middle of current year modern T5 2 x 24 W lighting began to be installed in 60 cm rectangular sets. It made them definitely the “brightest” tanks on the market. It is not the end – in the year 2007 during the introduction of first BRILLUX sets the Clients started asking for the destination of mysterious hollow under the back part of the cover. Its task was to house unique pressure filter that was at the testing stage at the time. We are proud to inform you that first sets containing that device are already leaving our production plants. BRILLUX POWER – as it is the name the new sets received – is a tank offering perfect, strong lighting as well as ideal water filtration. The filtering device is installed in BRILLUX POWER sets’ covers. Thanks to that solution it does not take place in the aquarium. It combines the advantages of internal filters (affordable price) and canister ones (high efficiency, location outside of aquarium interior) at the same time eliminating their vices. It has the form of relatively small, hermetic body connected with the tank interior by intake tube that ends with the newest generation HPP-600 high pressure, submersible pump. Despite its miniature size, thanks to using innovative technical solutions, the device is able to pump up to 600 l of water per hour and push it even to 4 m height! It allows the water to be fed into the filter under high pressure. The water flows through filtration cartridges that are made of compressed layers of filter fleece rolled onto convenient to use and functional strainers. High density of the filtration media combined with the abovementioned pressure of water provides efficient filtration even of the smallest mechanical impurities such as suspensions or even bigger protozoa – in the result within a few hours the water regains crystal clarity. Purified water flows outside of the filter through outlet tube and is distributed on the water surface or by the tank bottom (on of the options to be chosen) via a system of sprinkler tubes that efficiently aerate the water and optimize oxygen conditions in the tank. The pressure filter will be soon available in good aquarium stores with the newest models of BRILLUX POWER 60 tanks (at the moment only in rectangular aquariums, soon in all of the models). Also the users that bought BRILLUX sets prior to October 2008 will be able to purchase dedicated pressure filter that will be available at stores starting from November. That version will be additionally equipped with hoses and base that will allow transforming the device into a miniature canister filter able to perfectly purify water not only in BRILLUX sets but also in every aquarium of any shape and size.
