Zoological trade exhibition PETS TODAY 2008 took place between 17 and 20 of October 2008 in Athens in quite untypical hours 10.00-22.00. It is a cyclic event taking place every other year that gathers manufacturers and distributors from zoological branch of Greek market, however companies from neighbouring countries were present as well. Aquaristics, especially salt water, is quite popular in Greece, ca. 40% of exhibition booths was filled with aquariums, aquarium equipment, the distributors of live fish presented their goods as well. AQUAEL was presented at the distributor’s booth, independently full range of AQUAEL goods could be seen at company’s booth. AQUAEL products have been present on the Greek market since eight years and they are very well perceived, especially in terms of quality. One of the main targets of participation in the exhibition was to introduce new products and receive direct feedback from Clients – both wholesalers and retailers. Dozens of meetings and talks bore fruit in form of many valuable insights concerning further development of product range and allowed to better get to know the expectations of the consumers. The introduction of innovative external filter MINIKANI that can operate with water level of only 10 cm and the canister placed above the aquarium, received huge popularity. NEOHEATER - electronic, shatterproof heater and range of ACTI foods also got very good reviews.
